NEW CANEY BACKFLOW TESTING

Backflow Testing Exercise

Backflow is unfortunately a fact of life. Just as dogs get fleas, just as fish get caught by fisherman and just as the sun rises, sprinkler systems need to be tested for backflow problems every now and then. This is a simple case of making sure that you stay on the ball. However, we understand that you don’t want to be thinking about your sprinkler system all day so we have created this service where we can do it for you. Our backflow testing regime is something we are very proud of and we think you will like it a lot as well.

What is Backflow?

We want to explain backflow to you because it is a problem many people will face and not many people have heard of it. Put very simply – backflow is when water begins to run contrary to the direction it should be running in. This can be caused by a number of problems and each of them are based on a different set of circumstances – from pressure issues to faults in the system. Essentially, though, it is not important what the source of the problem is – it is bound to happen at some point. What is important is that it gets fixed, and that is where we come in.

Contamination and Other Issues

One of the reasons why it is important to get a backflow problem fixed as soon as possible is that it is subject to contamination and chemical issues. Why is this? Well, put simply – the problem occurs because if water is flowing back in on itself, it is spending way too long in the pipes and not enough time running through them, out of them and onto the foliage that it is mean to be watering. Therefore, along with other issues that are more mechanical, this needs to get sorted. Not just because of the problems that occur with your plants and grass, but because of the contamination aspect, too.

Backflow Prevention

Irrigation system back-flow prevention devices are designed to be there to moderate and control the levels of water flowing through the entire system. This helps in preventing pollution and contamination because it makes sure that they water keeps flowing in the right direction. We have a large range of these and we want to make sure that they are all explained to you properly so you can make the right choice.
